... “Our Citizenship is in Heaven”

After Jo's conversation with the Archbishop, he met with the Priest's Council, and published his column on page 2 of the March 22, 2009 issue of the Sooner Catholic.  Much has happened since then, but we sill await the training in Catholic Social Doctrine that he spoke of in his column.

One Holy, Catholic and Apostolic

Archbishop Beltran's Sooner Catholic Column from the September 27, 2009 issue of the Sooner Catholic wherein he asserts his apostolic authority and commends the pastors of the six parishes that have allowed the OSC/IAF to continue.  Many have taken this as a wholehearted endorsement of the OSC/IAF, but they should read the letter below before coming to this conclusion.

Archbishop Beltran Response Letter 9-28-2009

Letter we received from the Archbishop clarifying his Sooner Catholic column of September 27, 2009.  His "support" of the OSC/IAF is not as clear cut as many have supposed from his column.

Blessed Virgin Mary, Pray for Us.

“I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I am not bound to succeed, but I am bound to live by the light that I have. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong.”- Abraham Lincoln
